From the moment the shrimps are caught, from processing to manufacturing the quality control is maintained by Mr Peet - Director of the Southport Shrimps.
Once the shrimps are selected they are:- |

Cooked in salts, peppers, spices and butter (to a refined historic recipe).
The cooked shrimps are left to chill.
Weighed into pots.
Capped with a thin layer of butter.
Rapidly frozen to preserve the unique and distinctive flavour that only comes from Southport Brown Shrimps.

| This whole process is tested and sampled periodically by local authority Environmental Health in accordance with European legislation. |
