"Southport Potted Shrimps", the business, was founded in 1980 by James Peet, a shrimp fisherman for 25 years, whose family have been involved in the local shrimp industry for over four generations.
Southport Potted Shrimps are produced from Brown Shrimps by a local family of fishermen with many years experience, and a refined recipe to maintain a product of the highest quality and biological standards in keeping with the traditional industry.
The business is a member of the Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) and North West Wine Foods Ltd.
